American Airlines Grounds 8 Flights Over Safety Concerns

This comes after seats became loose on two flights in the last few days causing delays and concerns over safety. This just adds to the many problems piling up for American. Its parent company, AMR Corp, filed for bankruptcy back in November. This along with cost cuts for its pilots and the canceling of flights has decreased its reliability in the marketplace, making competitors like Southwest and Delta more attractive to consumers.
