Below are the top five companies in the Residential REITs industry as measured by relative performance. Some analysts believe that stocks with better relative performance will tend to outperform stocks with low relative strength. BRE Properties (NYSE:BRE) ranks first with a gain of 2.9%; Apartment Investment & Management (NYSE:AIV) ranks second with a gain of 2.82%; and Home Properties (NYSE:HME) ranks third with a gain of 2.67%.
